Hallo Hasis! Wie angekündigt, gibt es heute einen kleinen Einblick in meine neue “Lebenssituation” in London;-)
Ich wohne in West London in einem relativ noblen Viertel zusammen mit meiner Freundin April. April, welche ich liebevoll umbenannt habe in "APY", ist auch Singer-Songwriter und ich bin einer ihrer größten Fans ;-)) Wir hatten wirklich Glück mit der Wohnung, sie ist hell und nur ca 30 Sekunden von der nächsten Metro (Tube) Station entfernt. Ich habe ein ziemlich großes Zimmer mit Blick auf einen Park welcher besonders jetzt im Frühling regelrecht “in Schönheit erstrahlt”;D
Ich habe auch ein paar Bilder von meinen zubereiteten Mahlzeiten eingefügt, diese dienen hauptsächlich dazu, meine Mama und Oma zu beruhigen. Beide denken, dass ich in London hungere weil ich zu faul bin zum Kochen. Weit gefehlt! :-D Meistens… Wie auch immer, ich hoffe ihr habt alle einen guten Start in die neue Woche! Alles Liebe <3
//Hey cuties! As promised, here is a little insight into my new “life situation” in London:-) I live in west London, in a relatively posh area with my friend April. April, which I lovingly renamed "Apy", is also a singer-songwriter and I am one of her biggest fans ;-)) We were lucky with the flat given that it has a lot of light and it´s only 30 seconds away from the next tube station. I have quite a big room from where you have a beautiful view on the park which is beautifully blossoming these days. I also added a few pictures of the meals that I prepared, which really just serves the purpose of calming down my mother and grandmother who are of the opinion that I´m never cooking due to laziness. But as we see here: that couldn´t be further from the truth! :-D Most of the time.. Anyways, I hope you´re all having a pleasant start to your week. Lots of love <3
Im Februar waren meine Mama und ich für ein paar Tage in Tokyo. Ich war das erste Mal in Japan und mir hat es sehr sehr gut gefallen. Die Gesellschaft ist sehr vielseitig, in manchen Vierteln laufen alle im Anzug rum, in anderen, wie zum Beispiel in Harajuku, ist alles voller Grufti-Schulmädchen. Wer meine Mutter persönlich kennt, wird sich ihre wertenden Kommentare zu letzterem ausmalen können... So, ich halte es heute mal kurz mit dem Text, wer bis hier hin durchgescrollt UND gelesen hat, kann jetzt sicherlich auch eine Pause gebrauchen;) Habt ein schönes Wochenende!!
//This february my mum and me went to Tokyo for a couple of days. It was my first time in Japan and I really loved it. The society in Tokyo seems very diverse, in certain areas everybody is wearing suits and business costumes, in others, such as in Harajuku, you´ll be surrounded by gothic-school girls. Those who personally know my mother, will be able to imagine the kind of judgemental comments she was making with regards to the latter type. Anyways, I´ll keep it short for today as I can imagine that those who managed to scroll AND read until this point here could probably use a break by now;) Have a great weekend everyone!!
Ganze zwei Monate ist es her, dass ich das letzte Mal etwas gepostet habe. Obwohl es nicht das erste Mal ist, dass ich meinen “1 Post pro Woche” - Zyklus nicht einhalte, ist das die längste postfreie Zeit seit ich den Blog im Dezember 2013 gestartet habe. Damals war ich gerade in die Ukraine gezogen und hatte meinen ersten richtigen Job angefangen, nachdem ich zuvor vier Jahre lang Management in London studiert hatte (3 Jahre Bachelor, 1 Jahr Master). Heute, eineinhalb Jahre später, hat sich mein Leben wieder drastisch verändert. Ich habe meinen Bürojob gekündigt und bin wieder nach London gezogen, um dort Musik zu machen. Ich muss sagen, ich hatte eine wahnsinnig schöne Zeit in Kiew und ich habe jeden Einzelnen dort sehr ins Herz geschlossen. Und ich vermisse all die Menschen, die ich meine Freunde nennen durfte und die wie eine Familie für mich waren.
Aber wer mich kennt, weiß, dass ich eigentlich immer nur Musik machen wollte und das konnte ich in diesen Umständen nicht. Also habe ich beschlossen, wieder nach London zu ziehen. Das Ganze war natürlich eine sehr stressvolle und emotionale Erfahrung, die ich erstmal mit mir selber ausmachen musste. Aber jetzt bin ich wieder da und kann endlich die überfälligen Posts nachholen, zum Beispiel von meinem Trip nach Tokio, meinem neuen Leben in London, und natürlich wird es auch Neuigkeiten zum Thema Musik geben sowie ein neues Projekt, das ich demnächst bekannt gebe! //It´s been two entire months since my last post. Though this isn´t the first time that I´m breaking my “1 Post per week” - cycle, it is the longest post-free period since I´ve created this blog in December 2013. Back then, I had just moved to the Ukraine and had started my first real job after having studied Management in London for four years (Three years bachelor and one year master). Today, one and a half years later, I have quit my office job and have moved to London to do music. I have to say, I had an incredibly beautiful time in Kiev, and I miss all these people that I was able to call my friends and that were like a family to me.
But those who know me, know that in my heart I always wanted to do music which was hard to do in the Ukraine for a number of reasons. So I made the difficult decision to permanently move to London. This was of course a very stressful and emotional experience for me which I needed to deal with myself first before I could have shared it with anyone. But things have calmed down a little and I´m back:) There are many interesting things coming up on here like my trip to Tokyo, my new life in London and of course news with regards to my music and a completely new project which I will announce soon!
